Les Roberts is a Senior Lecturer in Cultural and Media Studies at the University of Liverpool. His work explores the intersection between space, place, mobility, and memory with a particular focus on film and popular music cultures. He is author/editor of 8 books, including Deep Mapping (2016), Locating the Moving Image (2014), Liminal Landscapes (2012), Film, Mobility and Urban Space (2012), and Mapping Cultures (2012). His latest book, Spatial Anthropology: Excursions in Liminal Space, was published by Rowman & Littlefield in 2018.
